The Plateau State Water Board is a Government Parastatal under the supervision of the Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development which is responsible for the provision of potable Water Supply in the
urban and semi-urban areas of Plateau State.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates as follows:
Conditions of Service
- Upon appointment, the General Manager holds office for a term of four years in the first instance which may be renewed tor a second and final term of four years
- Remuneration shall be as provided for in the relevant laws and conditions of service of Chief Executives of Government Parastatals and Agencies or as may be determined by the Head of Civil Service from time to time
- Applications for the post of the General Manager of the State Water Board shall fulfill the following requirements:
- Ability to initiate and implement government policies that will add immense value to the fulfillment of the core mandate of the Board and effective and efficient governance in general.
- Capacity to attract and mobilise funds locally and internationally to execute the core mandate of the Board.
- Capacity for teamwork, good judgement and resourcefulness.
- Must be an indigene of Plateau State
- Must be a holder of Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the field of Engineering with 15 years post-qualification experience in Engineering practice and registered with COREN.
