Balotelli Wants A ‘Kiss From The Queen’ If Italy Beat Costa Rica

Mario Balotelli Jokes About England’s World Cup Chances Relying On Italy

Default
Italy striker, Mario Balotelli, says he wants a ‘kiss on the cheek’ from the Queen if his team beat Costa Rica today.
England need the Azzurri to beat Costa Rica, if they are to avoid an exit from the World Cup at the group stage for the first time in 56 years.
They would, however, also need Italy to beat Uruguay and themselves to win against Costa Rica on Tuesday, 24 June.
Balotelli has used England’s dismal situation to get a unique reward should Italy come to the Three Lions' rescue.
“If we beat Costa Rica I want a kiss, obviously on the cheek, from the UK Queen,” the Italy striker wrote on Twitter.
The 23-year-old scored the winning goal for Italy in their opening win over England and is confident he can add a few more goals to his current 13 for Italy.
“I’m feeling very calm at this moment and I don’t feel under any pressure at all,” he said.
“I would like to go as far as possible in this World Cup.
“My personal aim is to score as many goals as possible but the most important thing is that the team plays well and advances.”
