Lab Support are currently looking to recruit a Production Equipment Engineer within the Pharmaceutical industry.  The role involves Technical Support for a varied portfolio of instrumentation, equipment reliability testing, calibration and failure analysis. Work will be carried out within a GMP regulated production environment and may also involves some project work. The role is a 6 month temporary rolling contract and carries a rate of around £20/hr, equivalent to an approximate salary of £38,000.
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate experience of working within an equipment maintenance environment and candidates from electrical engineer and physical engineering backgrounds will be given equal weight. Experience of the Pharma industry would be a distinct advantage, but there is good cross over between the food and brewing industry who use similar types of equipment. Experience of a strict Quality Controlled environment would be a distinct advantage as would knowledge of project work. Candidates need to be able to work to strict protocols and deadlines and you must be able communicate at all levels and work unsupervised.
