TV personality Katie Hopkins isn't new to controversy. She's courted a fresh one with her statements on Ramadan which began on Sunday.
The former reality star launched a series of bitter attacks on Ramadan and the Islamic community on her Twitter account and said she feels 'grumpy' when she doesn't eat.
The former Apprentice contestant wrote:
Hopkins's tweet sparked massive public disgust, and tweets condemning her anti-Ramadan remarks flooded Twitter.
While one user said that she is a 'stain upon humanity,' the other said he almost felt sorry for her.
Earlier, she had faced public outrage for mocking a gravely ill child who appeared on the X Factor.
In her tweet about the 10-year-old Kaychanel Willson, she wrote: "Kaychanel has enough on her plate without me adding to it. Could have been worse. #KayEsteeLauder."
