Tottenham Hotspur have closed in on signing Ben Davies after having an offer accepted by Swansea City.
The Metro reports a fee of £10million has been agreed between the Premier League clubs.
Liverpool have also been interested in Davies and had an offer of £8million rejected on Tuesday night.
The Merseyside club are yet to return with a second offer which suggests Tottenham are leading the race to sign the 21-year-old.
Mauricio Pochettino, who took over at White Hart Lane in May, wants to add a left-back to his side after the inconsistent form of Danny Rose last season.
He has selected Davies as his ideal choice, which will not surprise many as he has developed a reputation for working with youngsters.
Swansea are due to play Mexican side Chivas on Wednesday but Davies has now pulled out as he plans to negotiate a deal with Tottenham.
The Neath-native has 10 caps for Wales with his debut coming in October 2012 against Scotland.
