IT was a great day and relieve for some prospective Youth Corpers who graduated from Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, as they were today deployed into various states of the Federation to start serving their Nation.
It’s a Happy and Sad day for students, as there were lots of scenario at the front gate of the Students’ Affairs Office, because some of the prospective Youth Corpers were happy, why others were sad, and some female prospective corps were crying due to the states which they were deployed to.
While speaking to FEDPOLAD INFO, Maleeq John, one of the prospective Youth Corpers who was posted to Gombe state declared how bad he felt because he never thought of being posted to such a state, he anticipate a state like FCT Abuja, Lagos State, Port Harcourt, among others.
Likewise, one Afolabi Ekundayo said he has no other choice than going to Kano State where he was posted to cause he is sure that God will be on his side even with the recent bombing, where Five bomb explode within a space of four days!
However, some students were happy, as one Ayedun Raymond, who was posted to Abuja expressed his gladness cause he believe that it was God’s doing.
Raymond said that he has never had anywhere in mind, but God himself posted him to Abuja, and sure enough, he’s very happy with the posting.
Selling of various camp materials like shoes, socks, waist bags, belts etc also took place within the Campus ground.
