FEMI Adebayo, son of veteran Nigerian actor; Adebayo Salami was recently appointed as Special Assistant to the governor of Kwara state; Abdulfatah Ahmed, on Arts, Culture, and Tourism. He shared pictures of his new office and his photograph in suit.
Evidently, he sees his appointment as an opportunity to bring his wealth of education, and experience to bear in improving his state. In a recent Instagram post intimating his fans of his new status, the lawyer turned actor, producer, and director said, “Today I was appointed Special Assistant to the governor, Culture, Arts, and Tourism. Thank God for an opportunity to transform my state into a foremost tourist state that will attract foreign and domestic tourists. My fans, I need your support. Leave me not.”
Femi holds first and second degrees in Law, and also a Masters in Theater Arts. His 21 years in the industry has seen him garner quite a number of awards, some of which are; Best Yoruba actor at the 17th African Film Awards popularly known as Afro Hollywood awards at the Stratford Town Hall in London. Best Yoruba actor in the Best of Nollywood Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria Awards in 2012. He also has quite a number of movie credits under his belt, they include Owoblow (His breakout role), Atona, Omo Pupa, Anini, Onise Iku, Tania, Ayitale, Ladies Gang, Iya Alalake ,Sonto Alapata, Wura Ati Fadaka, Ma Wobadan,Buga and lots more.
