A new gaming brand, Western Lotto was officially launched Monday, July 10 with a large assemblage of stars in the entertainment industry lending their support.
Among the entertainers who graced the unveiling of the brand were Olu Jacobs, Jide Kosoko, Zack Orji Osita Iheme and Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki and Pawpaw, Ramsey Noauh, Paul Obazele, Alex Usifo, Dele Odule, Murphy Afolabi, Kemi Afolabi and Sola Kosoko.
Musicians present included Tuface Idibia and Olamide while comedian Ayo Makun, aka AY was also on ground.
Olu Jacobs, famous for his portrayal of traditional rulers in movies, commended Western Lotto for the initiative in bringing international gaming brands to Nigeria “at a time when some people think we should not be dealt with” as a country. He recalled his 20-years stay in the UK and playing the lottery and urged people to play actively.
According to the Managing Director of Western Lotto, Elvis Krivokuca, the brand offers hope and is committed to altering the landscape of gaming and recreation in Nigeria.
He stated; “We seek at Western Lotto to create opportunities ultimately in employment, wealth and empowerment for people in Nigeria and across Africa. Patrons will derive fun from the games, while there would be job creation on our extended value-chain of distributors, agents, business centres, portals, and suppliers.”
He further revealed that Western Lotto entered the market with five international gaming brands; Powerball, Euro Millions, Euro Jackpot, UK Lotto and Mega Millions.
Krivocuca added, “We pride ourselves in the privacy, dynamism and accessibility that our platform offers. You can play via USSD, mobile apps, online, shops and terminals.”
Also present at the launch were Senators Ben Murray-Bruce, Magnus Abe, Fatima Raji Rasaki, Honourables Segun Oni and Abdulmojeed Adekoya.
