Give us live coverage of Eagles’ matches, Sadiq tells NFF

Yakubu Sadiq, team manager of Nigerian Air force (NAF) FC Abuja on Monday called on Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to ensure live coverage of all Super Eagles matches.

Sadiq made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja while reacting to the 1-0 loss of  the home-based Eagles to the Benin Republic.
He said that live-assessment of the team’s performance by Nigerians would go a long way in building a stronger and better super Eagles.
‘’NFF should make sure that Nigerians watch live matches of the super Eagles because it will help us judge better.
‘’We heard that the team lost due to bad officiating and bad stadium, but all is hearsay since there was no live-coverage,’’ Sadiq said.
The team manager, who expressed displeasure in the defeat of the team, said that it is time to assemble a stronger team.
According to him, all hands ought to be on deck to reposition the team for national glory.
Sadiq appealed to the management of the team to improve on its strategies, saying that much needed to be done to redeem the team.
‘’Apart from this loss in Cotonou, we heard the team also forced Kano Pillars to a 1-1 draw ahead of the match in Benin.
NAN reports that Nigerian home-based Eagles lost 1-0 to their Benionose counterpart in the first leg of African Nations Championship  (CHAN) qualifiers on August 13 in Cotonou.
