Antonio Conte has hailed his players “concentration” following their rampant 6-0 victory over Qarabag in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Pedro and Davide Zappacosta got the Blues on their way in the first-half before goals from Cesar Azpilicueta, Tiemoue Bakayoko and a brace from Michy Batshuayi improved the scoreline.
And Conte thinks he can take a lot of “positive things” away from the victory after a year’s absence from the Champions League, and some betting sites would agree with the Chelsea manager.
“It was a good result,” Conte told BT Sport. “We started the Champions League in the right way. I saw great commitment, focus and concentration right from the start. It was a great performance from the players.
“A lot of positive things from us. Davide Zappacosta played very well and Eden Hazard is trying to find his best form.
“It’s very important to give players the opportunity like Andreas Christiansen. They must understand I trust them. I have 17-18 senior players. Every single player can have a chance to play.”
