Gareth Bale enhanced his reputation as a free-kick specialist against Lyon
After Gareth Bale's free-kick
double against Lyon in the Europa League, we asked talkSPORT listeners
owhat the best free-kick they have ever seen is and here is a selection
of responses.
talkSPORT listener Leo Mulvs says:
“In 1985, at Goodson park, Everton v Ipswich in the FA Cup, Kevin Sheedy took a free kick curled it over the wall in top right corner, leaving keeper Paul Cooper nowhere, the ref made him take it again for an infringement, so Sheedy put the ball down, looks up and this time curled it into the top left hand corner, for me the best free kick ever!”
