Ryo Miyaichi in action for Wigan earlier this season
Arsenal youngster Ryo Miyaichi, currently on loan at Wigan, could return for the Latics in Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final against Everton, manager Roberto Martinez has revealed.The 20-year-old winger has been plagued by ankle and groin problems this season and has not featured for Wigan since their 3-0 defeat to Liverpool back in November.But the Japan international made a return to action for Wigan’s development squad this week and could make a surprise appearance against Everton.
“We need to be careful we don’t push him too early,” said boss Roberto Martinez.
“But I do see his ankle is fully recovered, and it is just a matter of introducing him slowly and seeing how he responds to his individual programme.”
