Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has opened talks with the Reds and hopes to pen a new improved deal.Cleverley's
current deal, which is reported to net him in the region of £35,000 a
week, expires in 2015 and United are keen to tie him down to something
more long-term.
The 23-year-old has impressed for the Reds this season when making 32 appearances and he is also heavily involved in the England set up after starting against San Marino on Friday night.
United have just tied striker Danny Welbeck down to a new improved long-term contract and the highly-rated Cleverley will be offered a similar kind of package.
