RELIABLE CLICK NEWS UPDATE: WHAT IS IN THE SUPREME JUDGMENT of 1973 being 'SHOUTED' about by the Erin-Ile people. The Edict that established ADARAMOLA SOLE BOUNDARY COMMISSION by Col. Bamgboye ousted the power and jurisdiction of ALL courts in Nigeria at the time.

That is to say that, no court in Nigeria SHALL power to entertain any complain or dissatisfaction emanating from the decision of the Commission. So Offa community should not have gone to court to challenge the decision of the Boundary Commission having been seized of the provision of the said Edict. What Offa Community went to court for, was to challenge the personality of Adaramola himself on the ground that he was not a fit and proper person to be appointed in the first instance.

The Supreme Court however held that that is not material as the indictment of Adaramola by his employers then ABU Zaria has not been released at the time he carried out the assignment. The Supreme Court itself referred to that provision and urge the Kwara State Govt to apply the approprite Boundary Laws to address the issue. Simply put, the issue that was challenged by Offa community was the personality of Adaramola and nothing more. In 1975, Col. Taiwo via another Edict nullified, set aside, and vary the Edict of Col. Bamgboye which led to the Peace Accord signed by both Oba Popoola for Erin-Ile (late) and Oba Mustapha Olawoore for Offa (late) communities respectively. That Edict was modified by Col. Ogar leading to the establishment of the Buffer Zone which the Kwara State Government also believe exist up till today.

The question is, which of the Edicts is extant having regards to the nullification and setting aside of the Bamgboye's Edict by Col. Taiwo and the establishment of the Buffer Zone by the administration of Col. Ogar? Be it noted that both the Edict of Col. Taiwo (1975) and the Gazette of Ogar (1998) have not been nullified and set aside up till today. Offa ooooo! On the Buffer Zone we stand
