Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates for the following positions in the Rivers State Civil Service;
Position: Chief Surveyor; (Land Survey) GL 13
Age: Not more than 50 years of age for non-serving officers
Educational/Professional Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a degree in Land Surveying, Survey Engineering, Geodetic Science or Geodetic Engineering, Geographic Information System, Hydrography from a recognised university or institution.
- Candidate must also have registered with the Surveyors Registration Council of Nigeria (SURCON) as specified in the scheme of service for use in the public Service of the Federation.
- A minimum of 15(fifteen) years of relevant work experience for Directors, 12 (twelve) years for Deputy/Assistant Directors, 10(ten) years for Chief/Principal Surveyors and 5 (five) years for Senior Surveyors, respectively.
- Experience in Survey Coordination Cadastral/Legal Surveys and Zonal Field Operations
- Data management/Geospatial Information Remote Sensing/Mapping / Aerial Survey
- Littoral/Inter-state/Inter LGA/Inter Community boundaries
- On-shore/Engineering Survey
- Planning/Research
- Training
- Must possess knowledge of computer Aided Draughting
Position: Principal Surveyor, (Land Survey) GL 12
Age: Not more than 50 years of age for non-serving officers
Educational/Professional Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a degree in Land Surveying, Survey Engineering, Geodetic Science or Geodetic Engineering, Geographic information system, Hydrography from a recognised university or institution.
- Candidate must also have registered with the Surveyors Registration Council of Nigeria (SURCON) as specified in the scheme of service for use in the public Service of the Federation.
- A minimum of 15(fifteen) years of relevant work experience for Directors, 12 (twelve) years for Deputy/Assistant Directors, 10(ten) years for Chief/Principal Surveyors and 5 (five) years for Senior Surveyors, respectively.

Position: Senior Surveyor, (Land Survey) GL 10
Age: Not more than 50 years of age for non-serving officers
Educational/Professional Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a degree in Land Surveying, Survey Engineering, Geodetic Science or Geodetic Engineering, Geographic Information System, Hydrography from a recognized university or institution.
- Candidate must also have registered with the Surveyors Registration Council of Nigeria (SURCON) as specified in the scheme of service for use in the public Service of the Federation.

- Candidates must have passed the Part 1 Fellowship of the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent.
- All candidates must have obtained the registration of the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria and completed the National Youth Service or obtained Certificate of Exemption.
Age: not more than 50 years of age for non-serving officers.
Educational/Professional Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or Economics with Accountancy as a special subject, obtained from a recognized university or institution.
- Candidates must also have membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) as specified in the scheme of service of the public service of the federation.
- A minimum of 15 (fifteen) years of relevant work experience in audit for Directors, 10 (ten) years for Deputy Directors and 8 (eight) years for Assistant Directors, respectively.
Position: Deputy Director (Audit) GL 15
Age: not more than 50 years of age for non-serving officers.
Educational/Professional Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or Economics with Accountancy as a special subject, obtained from a recognized university or institution.

Position: Registrar/Medical Officer, (Medical Officers) GL 12
Age: Not more than 50 years of age for non-serving officers
Educational/Professional Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a degree in Medicine registrable with the medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) from a recognised institution.
