FA Cup far more important to Chelsea than Man United

Raffa Benitez can't afford for his Chelsea side to fail against Manchester United in Monday's FA Cup replay at Stamford Brdge.

Benitez came unstuck on saturday when his re-arranged side lost 2-1 at lowly Southampton.
But as football tipster Joe Ross of www.footyinsider.co.uk explains:'Benitez has always chased the silver ware. He won a treble for Liverpool but other than one year when Liverpool were runners up to Man United never looked like lifting the league title.

'He played his hand on saturday and to many came unstuck. But key players come into this game fresh and you can expect a very different proposition.'Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata could return after recovering from illness.'Mata missed the loss at Southampton, as did Blues centre-back Gary Cahill (knee), who is still a doubt. On balance Chelsea need this more than United and ca make home advanatge tell.' United full-back Rafael will miss the match having limped off against Sunderland with a groin injury.

Defender Rio Ferdinand, midfielder Ryan Giggs and striker Wayne Rooney were all left out of that game but could return.Having played on Saturday, both sides face a quick turnaround because of fixture congestion by having to play the game on Monday lunchtime.Meanwhile, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was left counting the cost of their 1-0 win at the Stadium of Light."We picked up two or three injuries, which doesn't help," said Ferguson, whose United side led the original match 2-0 before Chelsea fought back to make it 2-2.

"Rafael got injured and Jonny Evans got a bit of a knock but carried on. I thought we'd lost David De Gea for a moment."He was out for a few minutes but recovered and played a really great part for us."
