Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified
candidates for admission into the following schools / training program
in the Ahmadu Bello University(ABU) Teaching hospital zaria for 2013/
2014 academic session
The school offers a three year basic general nursing training to
suitable candidates of not less than 17 and half years old and not more
than 26 years of age. those wishing to apply must have the following:
the acceptable combination of results shall be as follows
1) WASC/ WASC or WASC/ WAEC/ GCE
11) NECO / NECO or NECO/NECO or GCE
A) Five credit passess in SSCE, WASC/NECO or GCE Which should include
among others english, mathematics and three science subjects (physics,
chemistry, biology) at not more than two sittings
ENTRANCE EXAMINATION AND INTERVIEW:
Candidates who satisfy the basic entry requirements shall be required to
sit for an entrance exam in june 2013 and selection interview
thereafter. only candidates shortlisted will appear for the selection
interview. candidates seleted for admission shall be required to pass a
medical examination for fitness, the selection process will include
essay writing followed by oral interview.
ACCOMODATION:
This course is residential. successful candidates shall be required to
live inthe nurses hotel, payment of accommodation fee shall be made
instalmentally
