Amoo targets League glory

Former Shooting Stars and Sunshine Stars coach Fatai Amoo wants to lead a serious club to Glo Premier League glory this season.

Speaking shortly after his return from the just ended convention of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) in Pennslyvania, United States. Amoo revealed that he hopes to link up with an ambitious Nigerian club that he can lead to snatch the League title from Kano Pillars.

The former Super Eagles star and assistant coach boasted that he remains one of the best and most experienced coach in the country, and that his constant yearning to improve his technical abilities through refresher courses have only made him better.

"I remain one of the best coaches in the country and I need this season to confirm that," began the ex-coach of the defunct Julius Berger FC of Lagos.

"You know I love self-developmental programmes. I am a card carrying member of the National soccer coaches Association of America and I don’t joke with such unique opportunities. I thank God I have returned with superior skills after the convention that had seasoned coaches and Administrators from different parts of the world as resource fellows.

"With my rich C V and experience I expect top clubs to take full advantage and contract me as fast as possible because I have a lot to not only boost such club but Nigeria Football generally."

Amoo sounded very positive about prospect of getting a new deal while also admonishing other Nigerian coaches not to compromise on self-development programmes.
