Uzoenyi
Nigeria international Ejike Uzoenyi has reported back to Enugu Rangers after failing to win a contract with a club in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) in South Africa.
The winger caught the eye of some of South Africa's top clubs after an impressive campaign for the Super Eagles at the recent African Nations Championship (CHAN), where he won the Player of the tournament award for his efforts.
He has since confirmed that he has returned to the Flying Antelopes without a deal and will join the rest of team-mates for pre-season training ahead of the new season.
"I'm back in Nigeria now after holding talks with a club in South Africa," Uzoenyi told SuperSport.
"Nothing has been agreed upon yet but my manager will continue to discuss with them," he added.
Nigeria took third place at the CHAN tournament.
Meanwhile, the club has confirmed that goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim has been released after his contract expired.
