Danilo refuses to rule out Porto exit
Arsenal transfers: Danilo refuses to rule out Porto exit as defender continues to be linked with Gunners
Danilo has refused to rule out a possible move to Arsenal by saying that he would consider leaving Porto if “something good” came along.
The 22-year-old Brazilian defender has been touted as a potential replacement for Bacary Sagna, with the France international set to leave north London this summer. And although he insists he is happy at Porto, the right-back says he would consider any offers should they arrive.“I’ll say what is usually said, I am contracted until 2016,” Danilo told ESPN Brazil. “I am playing at Porto and have been playing well, which makes you get linked with top clubs.
“But there is a big difference between that and an offer that Porto accepts. I am happy at the moment and I am prepared to return to Porto.
“If something good for everyone comes along, we’ll sit down, but for now it is just speculation.”
