IRBM Science Park (IRBM) is a biomedical research company located in Pomezia (Rome) dedicated to innovative preclinical drug discovery and development in areas of high unmet medical need, including neurodegenerative and rare and neglected diseases.
We are currently seeking a Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK)Scientist to join our Chemistry department.
Primary responsibilities of Senior Scientists in DMPK include designing, conducting and analyzing in vitro and/or in vivo DMPK studies to support drug discovery and preclinical development as: metabolic stability assays, metabolite ID, phenotype screening, plasma protein/tissue binding.
In addition to the responsibilities described above, the successful candidate will be involved in, writing reports, making presentations, and communicating with other DMPK and Med Chem scientists.

Education:
- PhD, PharmD, or other equivalent degree
- PhD, PharmD, or other equivalent degree
Required:
Hands-on experience on mass spectrometry and HPLC as applied to in vitro & in vivo drug metabolism. Working knowledge of other instrumentation including UPLC, radiometric, LSC, fluorescence detectors is a plus.
Innovative, independent and goal-oriented; able to plan and execute own research while being a good team player.
Able to work in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams where English is the common language
