JAMES 'Arg' Argent is one happy man after reigniting his relationship with ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright.

The TOWIM star couldn't stop smiling about his former missus when OK! Online caught up with him recently and we quizzed him about all the Marbs drams.

"We got on really well. It was emotional. We were both nervous and we had some laughs as well," he beamed about the pair's dinner date.

Although they got on like a house on fire, Joey Essex's close friend insisted it's still early days.

"It went as far as we've agreed to be friends. Well, I mean that's all for now," Arg said.

However, he's not ruling out giving their relationship another go and added: "I think it's a case of never say never."

"I don't know, I'm not too sure," he responded when asked if he could see it working the second time around.

It was clear to see Gemma Collins' cupboard buddy is happier than ever to be on friendly terms with Lydia again after they spent the last two years "avoiding each other at all costs".

"I think it'll take a hell of a lot for me to be able to get her back or for us to be able to work but I definitely feel she's got feelings for me," Arg revealed.

"I think I'm definitely the love of Lydia's life like she is mine, so far in our lives anyway. Deep down there's always going to be feelings there," he finished.

Only time will tell.
