JUSTIN Bieber has been 'baptised in a bathtub'.

The US singer washed away his sins after a video was leaked of him using the N-word last week.

Pastor Carl Lentz told TMZ that the 20-year-old teen-sensation underwent a week of intense bible study just before the racist videos were released.

Justin's religious turn focused on studying the Bible, attending services and was completed by being baptised in a pal's bathtub.

Reports suggested that he had tried to secure a church but despite keeping a low-profile, his cover was blown, and the singer wanted to keep things private.

The star hinted at his religious journey when he posted a snap of a Bible cutting on his Instagram.

Despite public outrage over the offensive footage – which was filmed when Justin was 15-years-old – celebs have come out in force to defend him.

The likes of 50 Cent, Russell Brand and Usher jumped to share their views.

In an interview with The Sun, 50 Cent said: “I don’t think [Justin] is racist.”

"I don’t think he even knows who he is at this point – he’s so young. When you see people become huge stars real early, it’s tough for them.”
