Man United just need to agree fee with Arsenal for Vermaelen

Reliable Click top transfer expert Warren Haughton claims Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen's move to Manchester United is on the verge of being completed.

The Gunners star has agreed personal terms with the Red Devils and Haughton believes the Premier League pair just need to agree a fee, believed to be around £11million, for the Belgian.

Speaking to the Weekend Sports Breakfast show, he said: "Arsenal are ready to let Thomas Vermaelsen move on. He’s only got one year left on his contract.

"The deal would cost Manchester United around £10-11million. My understanding is that personal terms have been agreed with Manchester United, the clubs just need to agree a transfer fee."
