We are currently looking to recruit an additional team leader to support our engineering department and look after utilities, plant, and equipment services in our Liverpool facilities. The successful candidate will need to be very customer focused and used to work in fast paced environmrnts. A summery of responsibilities are:    * Comply with required standards with respect to documentation, good house keeping, cGMP, health and safety, timekeeping, regulatory legislative requirements and in accordance with the rules and requirements of the GMP Compliance Rulebook, the Code of Conduct, quality manual and any other company policies and procedures. * Take ownership of, and be responsible for, all actions undertaken as part of the role, to ensure commitments to the organisation and colleagues are always met. * To work in close cross functional collaboration in support of delivering the business whilst ensuring safe and effective methods of working, Good Engineering Practice and value for money.   The role holder will be responsible for: -   * The leadership, co-ordination and development of the Engineering Maintenance Team. * Co-ordination of Engineering activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and MedImmune Quality System requirements, ensuring the use of best practice and completion to the highest standard. * Provide technical support and expertise for all Maintenance Engineering activities and support with a primary focus on the manufacturing process, with the ability to also support Facility plant and equipment -- included but not limited to the fabrication of the Facility, Utilities, BAS, HVAC and QC and Materials Management equipment.   * In collaboration with the 2nd Engineering Maintenance Team Leader and Engineering Service Team Leader progress the effective development and management of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure adherence to schedule. * Development and supervision of externally provided support / service contract, including the planning, co-ordination and hosting of visiting Engineers.   * Ensuring that all Engineering Maintenance activities are performed to EHS requirements. *NS-Medi *LI-MEDI  

Experience: * Proven track record  of Mechanical and / or Electrical Maintenance Engineering, formal apprenticeship or on-the-job training * Must be familiar with the operation and maintenance of PLC controlled processing equipment within a GMP manufacturing environment , knowledge of GXP systems and practices, facility services/utilities and Engineering change control. Education: * The Job Holder will have undertaken a formal Engineering apprenticeship, and likely to have a HNC (ONC) academic qualification.
