The Senior Manager, Apremilast Marketing, Rheumatology will play a key leadership role in maximizing the value of apremilast as part of the Global Psoriatic Arthritis and Beçhet’s Disease launches. This position is responsible for developing and implementing the Beçhet’s Disease launch strategy and delivering clarity on the related critical success factors for apremilast in key markets. In addition, this position will take a leadership role facilitating the annual Rheumatology Strategic and Brand Planning process including strategic oversight of the brand globalforecast. As part of this role, this position will assist in delivering key global tactics as it relates to both PsA and Beçhet’s Disease execution. This position will partner with all regions but have specific focus with the Canadian and Australian regional marketing leaders/teams to ensure that the global strategy is aligned, developed through market insights and is actionable across various geographies.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop all aspects of global strategic and brand plan for apremilast in Beçhet’s Disease in coordination with manager. Includes defining market opportunities, business opportunities, messaging/campaign development, lifecycle management, strategic pricing/access input and oversight of the requisite ad boards and market research. Subject to change based on Turkish Strategy.
- Work with the Global and Regional leaders to develop and lead the annual Rheumatology Strategic and Brand Planning process creating opportunities for engagement and interaction such that plans are globally and regionally aligned at launch and beyond.
- Strategic oversight of the forecasting process ensuring input and validation of assumptions and validation/alignment of the global sales and resource forecasts.
- Partner with opinion leaders (ad boards), external agencies/vendors, and cross functional team members in developing and executing the commercialization and marketing launch plans including key Global tactics
- Key Global partner for Canadian and Australian Regional Marketing teams
- Monitor/evaluate competitive products and marketplace and collaborate on market research activities.
- Oversee various aspects of key conferences and educational initiatives in preparation for product launch and beyond.
- Drive digital strategy specifically focusing on development and execution of global Otezla.com website
- Team liaison to Corporate Affairs and Advocacy ensuring strategic alignment and execution of key tactics
- Manage funds and resources appropriately.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- BA/BA required; life sciences degree or equivalent desirable, MBA/graduate degree preferred. 5 years industry and minimum of 2-3 years global marketing experience required. Other functional experience within inflammation/rheumatology strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in leading strategically and effectively and efficiently driving performance
- Ability to work and partner proactively and effectively across functions through fostering collaboration
- Demonstrated analytical skills, with regards to market research, competitive data collection analysis, financial analysis and crystallization of key business insights are needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Global launch experience highly desirable
- Must be PC literate in Microsoft Office
