Liverpool are said to be leading the chase for talented PSV Eindhoven forward Zakaria Bakkali who is expected to make a summer switch over the next month.
According to the Metro, the 18-year-old is unhappy with life in Holland and is hoping to push a big money move should he not be reassured about his role and future at the club.
Reports in Dutch publication Sport Magazine.be say Liverpool are favourites to sign the winger, ahead of Tottenham and Valancia who are also known to be interested in making a move this summer.
Liverpool are expected to make a number of signings before the season gets underway next month, having already brought in the likes of Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Lazar Markovic and Emre Can.
According to the reports, Liverpool are willing to match PSV’s asking price of just above £6million for the youngster who scored on his Champions League debut, making a blistering start to last season.
