Syrian rebels fighting the vile terror thugs of ISIS have released a heartbreaking recruitment video showing a father say goodbye to his wife and child.
In another segment of the 'Together we are stronger' footage, a young man says his farewells to his elderly parents before boarding a bus to the front line.
The slickly-produced video was released by the Free Syrian Army, who are battling both the Russian-backed tyrannical regime of Bashar al-Assad and Islamic State.
Meanwhile, some 250,000 children are trapped in Syria without food, medicine or electricity, Save the Children reports in a major new study.
Youngsters told the charity they have become so terrified they "now wait for their turn to be killed".
Fear and starvation have taken hold in the war-ravaged country, where civilians are killed by barrel bombs and those trapped in besieged communities have resorted to eating boiled leaves and animal feed to survive.
The charity's chief executive Tanya Steele said the report, Syria Childhood Under Siege, released ahead of the war's fifth anniversary next week, showed it was time to end sieges around key cities.
