IYC denounces officers' executing of footballer

The umbrella assemblage of Ijaw young people, the Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, has censured the military for executing Joseph Izu, a safeguard with the Shooting Stars of Ibadan, Oyo State.

                          

The player was apparently murdered by troopers of 2 Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Port Harcourt, at Okarki, a fringe group in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State, at a short proximity.
