Coutinho has been “manipulated” by Barcelona – report

Barcelona have manipulated Philippe Coutinho into not playing for Liverpool to push for a move to Spain, according to reports.
Coutinho has yet to feature for the Reds this season due to an apparent back injury and a number of outlets suggest that the Spanish giants are to blame.

According to Brazilian newspaper, Estadao Barcelona manipulated the 25-year-old to threaten Liverpool of never playing for the club again as a way of pushing for a move to the Camp Nou.
Coutinho has been under instructions from his representatives and is one of the reasons why he’s yet to play for Liverpool this campaign.
It was reported that the Merseyside club rejected a third bid from Barcelona for a fee of around 113million euros for Coutinho with Liverpool keen to retain the services of their playmaker.
There has been no indication when or if the Brazil international will return to the Liverpool line-up, but the newspapers in his native country suggest he could be back with the club after the international break.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are unbeaten in their opening two fixtures having taken four points from a possible six after beating Crystal Palace 1-0 at Anfield last weekend.
