Although thankfully for Anthea (and
our eyes) there was no embarrassing wardrobe malfunction this time
round
Anthea came out for the results show wearing a lacy black dress and looking pretty darn fine (well, we thought - Twitter seemed to disagree with us MASSIVELY).Before retaking to the ice, Anthea confessed: "This is actually one of Pamela Anderson's dresses."Which was surely just tempting fate, as we all know what happened to poor old Pamela Anderson. Click through if you need reminding.
Rex Features Thankfully for Anthea, there was no repeat of Pammy's wardrobe mishap
- but sadly she suffered the same fate as the former
Baywatch star, losing the judges' vote and being sent home.
Karen
told her: "Anthea, you gave it all you've got, but it wasn't enough."With Karen and Jason both voting to save Keith and Ashley choosing to save Anthea, the final decision came down to head judge Robin Cousins. He said: "Anthea, you look divine, but Keith, you skate divinely. I save Keith."Following the result, Anthea said: "I really love that routine and I'm so glad that we could do it."
And, talking about her Pamela Anderson cast-off, she said, "She didn't wear this, because it didn't, you know..." and made some gestures around the chest area.
Rex Features "Is it all you in there!?" Phillip Schofield quipped, which Anthea
looked a little miffed at. Fair point, though - Anthea and Pammy may
share their hair colour, but Anthea can't really compete on the
boob-o-meter.Anthea went on to say the usual guff about what an
amazing time she'd had on the show, and how the Dancing On Ice team are
the best.
We reckon she's just secretly pleased that, now she no longer has to squeeze into Pammy's old frocks, she can go home and keep working her way through that lifetime supply of Snowflakes she got in her Cadbury's wedding deal. Elsewhere on tonight's Dancing On Ice, we learnt that Sylvain Longchambon met Samia Ghadie's mum this week.
