Fabio Capello has dismissed speculation suggesting he will become the next Chelsea manager.
The former England boss is currently in charge of Russia, who are preparing for a World Cup qualifier against Northern Ireland on Friday.
Rumour Mill
The rumour mill has been rife since Rafael Benitez confirmed he would definitely be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Capello has been one of many names linked to the soon to be vacant role, but it would appear the Italian is happy with his current job.
“I know nothing about this [link to Chelsea]. I am really happy with Russia and focused to qualify for the World Cup,” he said, according to Goal.com.
Winner
The Champions League winning coach has managed a number of Europe’s greatest teams with several spells at AC Milan and he also took charge at Real Madrid and Juventus.
However, he is yet to manage in the Premier League, so you’d be forgiven for thinking he may be tempted if Roman Abramovich came calling.
Jose Mourinho is still the red-hot favourite to become the next Blues boss with many bookmakers, while the likes of Gianfranco Zola and Antonio Conte have been heavily linked with the managerial post.
