Rooney For Sale By Ferguson

wayne rooney Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly told Wayne Rooney he is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and that he will be sold in the summer.

Fergie is believed to be fed up of the striker’s yo-yo weight and an apparent bad attitude toward training. The Scot has decided that Rooney will moved on in the summer, despite having two years left to run on his contract.Rooney would be available for £25 million, freeing up cash for a possible move for Tottenham star Gareth Bale. Bale has been in scintillating form for Spurs and a move to a bigger club in the summer looks inevitable.

The loss of Rooney will come as a shock to many Manchester United fans, but the signing of Robin Van Persie during the summer has seen Rooney fall down the pecking order. Ferguson started the former Everton player on the bench for the all-important Champions League semi-final second-leg with Real Madrid, favouring Danny Welbeck and Robin Van Persie.Rooney has made 27 competitive appearances for Manchester United this season, scoring 14 goals. He has from now until the end of the season to change Alex Ferguson’s mind and rescue his United career.
