Tottenham remain favourites to land young Dane but it is far from a certainty

Ever since Ajax starlet Christian Eriksen made it clear that this season would be his last season at the Dutch club he has become the subject of much speculation as to where his next destination will be.
The 21-year-old has had been linked with several Premier League clubs, among them Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur while Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be interested.
Spurs are the favourites to land the young Dane in the summer at odds of 3.00 with BetVictor, they are closely followed by Liverpool who are priced up at odds of 5.00, also with BetVictor.
The Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid come next in the betting at odds of 17.00 and 21.00 respectively which does indicate that the most likely destination for Eriksen would be the Premiership.

What may change the dynamics is if Tottenham fail to make the Champions League, it would take a leap of faith for any young ambitious player to turn down an opportunity to join Barcelona or Real Madrid and join a side that can offer only Europa League football.
At this stage it is almost impossible to predict where Eriksen will end up and it may pay to wait a little before deciding to take a position on this particular market.
