Nigerian striker, Victor Anichebe scored a stupendous goal for West Browmwich Albion as the Baggies won 3-0 against in their latest pre-season friendly decided on Saturday.
Saido Berahino and Youssouf Mulumbu also scored for the Baggies in the 3-1 win over Sacramento Republic in California as WBA crank up the pressure on their preparations for the new season.
Anichebe’s goal on 62 minutes exemplified power and precision as he fired unerringly from 25 yards to make it 3-0 before the hosts scored their consolation late on.
It was his second goal of pre-season and underlines his status as a striker in form.
The 26-year-old Nigerian forward and his teammates will now return to England to complete their pre-season exertions with their next game scheduled for Saturday against Nottingham Forest at the City ground.
