Responsible for engineering support of automation systems used for GMP manufacturing processes, utility control systems to support manufacturing, and building control systems. This position will aid with the trouble shooting of automation related issues. Develop and implement projects for improving the operation and efficiency of control systems, as well as adding core functionality. Lead projects for modifications and improvements for automation systems such as; upgrades to equipment and software, checkout and installation of new equipment, augmenting existing automated functionality, and developing historian / reporting solutions. Manage the automation network and servers, including Vlan switching architecture, server software update and patch management, virtualization, PLC software version control / repository, and database/historian management. The automation engineer must be able to work with a variety of different systems as well as have good mechanical and electrical abilities. A natural ability to understand how things work and how to fix things that don't is a great asset.

Position:
Position Requirements: Knowledge of PLC's, GMP's, S-88 Batch, database development and maintenance, Osi Pi, control loop tuning, HMI/SCADA programming including VBA, Ethernet switching and VLans, Server OS and management, sever and storage virtualization, strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical knowledge. Excellent process, communication and teamwork skills are vital. Experience with DeltaV, Allen Bradley Logix 5000 PLCs, Rockwell RSView SE SCADA systems, SQL Databases, VMWare, Cisco, and NetApp storage preferred.   Physical Demands:
