Manchester United Ready To Break World Transfer Record

Manchester United have given Louis Van Gaal permission to break the world transfer record.

Manchester United have given Louis Van Gaal permission to break the world transfer record.
The former Netherlands manager is preparing to bolster his squad ahead of the new season and has been tasked with signing some of the biggest names in world football.
According to the Guardian, chief executive Ed Woodward has informed Van Gaal that his transfer activity this summer will not be constrained by money.
Last year Real Madrid shattered the transfer record when they signed Gareth Bale from Tottenham for £86m, eclipsing the £80m they paid United to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to the Bernabeu.
United have moved quickly to secure the signings of Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw for a combined fee of around £60m, and are said to be working round the clock to bring other transfer targets to Old Trafford.
They were yesterday linked with a £16m move for World Cup winning defender Mats Hummels, and it appears now that money will be no issue in the hunt for some of the best talent in the world.
Van Gaal will now look to splash the cash on a huge marquee signing to help launch their assault on the Premier League title next season.
