Regularly works under moderate supervision, on routine manufacturing and other assignments that are moderately complex in nature, where judgment is required to make recommendations and resolve problems. Normally receives instructions on routine work and general instructions on new assignments. Adherers to Good Manufacturing Practices and standard operating procedures. Interacts regularly with co-workers, senior personnel, and supervisor.   Major Responsibilities:
  • Reviews, edits, authors and provides feedback about Solution Production Records (SPRs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to authoring group, as needed to accurately reflect process steps and capture process changes
  • Assists in the planning, identification, ordering and set-up of basic equipment
  • Collects and distributes in-process samples and soltions
  • Provides training to more junior staff, as requested
  • Performs first-line troubleshooting and root cause analysis


Required Education and Experience:
  • Preferred bachelors degree in the sciences with 1 - 3 years of relevant experience.
  • AA or BS Degree is heavily preferred.
  • Proficient in the operation of all area specific production equipment such as Autoclaves, GMP Glass washers, filtration devices, scales, analytical equipment, etc.
  • Proficient at multitasking
  • Knowledge of basic production equipment (tanks, scales, meters, transfer panels)
  • Knowledge of clean room regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of cGMP Principles and Standards
  • Knowledge of Solution Prep and Transfer
  • Knowledge of SAP
