Sir Alex Ferguson has backed Leicester City to hold onto their lead at the top of the table and win the Premier League.
The former Manchester United manager is so confident that the Foxes will lift their first Premier League trophy, that he reckons they will win it with three games to spare.
The Foxes face one of the trickier run-ins out of their title rivals, with games against Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton still to play.
However Ferguson believes the Foxes will have the title wrapped up before their trip to champions Chelsea on the last day of the season.
Leicester City play relegation-threatened Newcastle United on Monday evening where a win would keep them five points clear of their nearest rivals Tottenham.
Sir Alex Ferguson won 13 Premier League title in his 27 years at Old Trafford and says Leicester are the most deserving of this year's league crown.
Asked by the Sunday Times whether he thought Claudio Ranieri's side could maintain their miraculous form, the Scotsman was unequivocal in his assessment.
"Of course they can," said Ferguson.
"I believe they will win it with three games to spare."
Ferguson, now 74, retired as manager of Manchester United after winning the Premier League in 2013, but remains a regular visitor to Old Trafford.
The Premier League great also paid tribute to Leicester City's head of recruitment, Steve Walsh, who has been attributed with bringing previously unknown players such as Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante to England; with great success.
If Ferguson's prediction proves accurate, Leicester will win the Premier League title at Old Trafford in their May 1st fixture against Manchester United.
The Premier League's most successful manager in its history also tipped Slaven Bilic's West Ham to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.
West Ham travel to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in their FA Cup quarter-final tie with Manchester United.
