Sinclair, Canada's captain, was among 25 players named Friday to the Canadian team that will compete in the 12-team international soccer tournament that begins March 6 against Switzerland.
The 29-year-old Burnaby, B.C., native sat out the Yongchuan Cup in China in January, and must watch one more game in Cyprus, as she completes a four-game ban for "unsporting behaviour towards match officials" at the 2012 London Olympics. She will be eligible to return from suspension for Canada's second game against Finland on March 8.

Other Olympians suiting up for Canada in Cyprus include: goalkeepers Erin McLeod and Katrina LeBlanc, defender Carmelina Moscato, and midfielders Desiree Scott, Kaylyn Kyle and Diana Matheson.The Canadian squad will feature five players taking part in their first camp since the team's 2012 Olympic bronze-medal victory. Canada is also sending 18 holdovers from the China tournament to Cyprus.The Canadian squad will arrive in Larnaka, Cyprus on Feb. 25.
After taking on Switzerland and Finland, Canada will close out group play March 11 against the Netherlands prior to the playoff round.
