Curtis: Swansea Could Sign 4-6 Players In Summer

Swansea City first team coach Alan Curtis has revealed that they will be busy in the Summer transfer window, and they could sign 4 to 6 new players ready for the next campaign.

Both the chairman Huw Jenkins and manager Michael Laudrup have said that plans are in place to strengthen the squad, and Alan Curtis has also added that new players will come in.

Laudrup will strengthen his squad in preparation for next season's Europa League competition, but he has still insisted that he wants a smaller squad, but if 4 to 6 signings were made, then he'd need to sell a dozen or more of his senior players.

Curtis said:

'I'm sure we will buy in players in the summer.

It's important to do that irrespective of where you finish. There are plans afoot to bring players in.

'We will have to satisfy the players terms-wise, but I would say we'll sign quite a few players. We could sign four, maybe up to six players in the summer if we can.'
