Jermain Defoe will miss both legs of Tottenham's Europa League quarter-final with Basel through injury.
The England striker is expected to be out of action for around a week with a muscular problem according to Reliable Click.
That means Defoe will play no part in
Thursday's clash with Basel at White Hart Lane, Sunday's Premier League
game with Everton and the return leg with the Swiss side next week.
His injury leaves Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas with just one senior striker, Emmanuel Adebayor.
