Our Client is a reputable company into Transport and Logistics Management with a fleet strength of over 200 trucks (wet & dry cargo) with its services cutting across the entire states of the Federation. The company prides itself in setting standards for sustainable business practices to meet the expectations of its customers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Must be hands-on and work directly on the trucks with the maintenance team.
• Responsible for overall planning, design, monitoring and control of maintenance of company’s fleet within and outside base.
• Must ensure efficiency in Turnaround Time on maintenance of fleet.
• Maintaining all performance standards, processes and procedures, necessary checks and balances as well as the documentation needed throughout in relation to the management and maintenance of the company’s fleet.
• Taking direct personal responsibility of the entire team its performance and output.
• Project management; taking responsibility and overseeing other possibly upcoming projects/improvements regardless of their scope or scale on time and to the desired standard as specified by management.
• Setting and monitoring the compliance to fulfilment of objectives, performance standards and tasks for all direct reports.

 

Qualification and Experience

• Minimum OND holder in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution
• Other professional qualifications will be added advantage
• Minimum of 7 - 10 years excellent working experience (4 years must be at supervisory level) in fleet management with reputable organisation(s).
• IT literate with good knowledge of Word, Excel and Power point.
• Must be willing to work outside Lagos if need be.
• Not less than 30 years of age as at the date of this publication.
• Remuneration very attractive and negotiable.
• Must be a Team player
