Plateau won’t let go of top spot

Plateau won’t let go of top spot

Plateau United coach, Patrick Mancha has said his side will not relinquish their commanding lead of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Division A.

The Tin City side are atop of NNL Division A on 24 points from 13 matches though with a game at hand.
They face a tricky road trip challenge at 13th-placed Ranchers Bees in Wednesday’s NNL Matchday 14 at Kaduna Township Stadium.

Mancha said his side are mindful of the stiff challenge to their prime position and will do everything in their power to guide jealously the hard earned position.“We won’t hands off the top spot of the NNL Division A. There is no going back on our resolve to keep the top spot no matter what it costs.
“We’ll remain focused and take the challenge step by step. Challenges will surely come from our competitors, we’ll strive to continuously wave it off.

“Against Ranchers Bees we’re heading to Kaduna to grab the three points at stake. Though we’ve found out that our opponents are always at their very best once Plateau United are involved.
“We see it as sacrifices leaders must pay to stay afloat, we’ll continue to work hard to ensure we didn’t get drown in the course of the race,” said the former Nigerian player to supersport.com.
The Nigeria National League (NNL) Matchday 14 games slated for this weekend have been moved to Wednesday to accommodate Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifier against the Harambee Stars of Kenya at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar on Saturday.
